1. What AxelHired is

AxelHired is a job-application automation product for the Indian market. We watch every Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Keka careers page directly, and the Indian boards (Naukri, LinkedIn India, Foundit, Apna, Internshala, Indeed) via a Chrome extension and your stored login. For each role we tailor a cover, generate a diff preview, and only submit after you approve. We are operated by Sharpe Holdings Private Limited under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Where AI is used

Job matching

Each newly-discovered role is scored against your résumé and preferences. The score is shown on the job card; below your configured floor, the role is skipped.

Résumé tailoring

Per-role rephrasing of bullets you already wrote, aligned with the job description. We never invent skills, certifications, employers, or dates. If a job requires something you don't have, the role is flagged on the preview, not faked.

Cover-letter drafting

A single tier of tailoring covers both the résumé bullets and the cover-letter draft. Auto-approve is opt-in, off by default.

Open-ended answers

Free-text screening questions (“Why this company?”) are drafted from material you wrote elsewhere. Each draft is shown to you in the preview. Empty drafts are surfaced as “needs-you” rather than auto-submitted.

Form automation

Cloud-side Playwright fleet drives the ATS form. We do not decide your answers to compliance / EEOC-style fields — those come straight from your saved profile.

3. Providers that touch your data

• Anthropic (Claude) via Vercel AI Gateway — résumé tailoring, cover letter drafting, answer drafting, match scoring.
• Supabase Mumbai (ap-south-1) — all PII storage. Row-Level Security on every table. Credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM, master key held outside the database.
• Hetzner (Falkenstein) — Playwright browser fleet for apply execution + per-user authenticated discovery.
• Razorpay — UPI Autopay for subscriptions and credit packs.
• Google (Gmail OAuth) — direct read-only access scoped to OTP detection only, when you enable it. We never store full email contents.
• AiSensy (WhatsApp Business) — outbound apply notifications and inbound “approve” webhooks.
• Postmark — inbound recruiter-reply detection on your per-user @inbox.axelhired.com alias.
• Vercel — web app hosting + cron scheduling.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not feed it to ad networks. The full subprocessor list and DPDP-compliance details live in our Privacy Policy.

4. Things we will never do

• Invent experience, certifications, employers, or dates on your résumé.
• Submit an application without your approval, unless you opted into auto-approve and the match score is above your configured floor.
• Answer EEOC / diversity / compliance fields differently from your saved profile.
• Use your résumé text to train a general-purpose model. Inputs go to the listed providers under their data-processing terms; we do not contribute it to a training corpus.
• Share your inbox content with recruiters or third parties.

5. How you stay in control

• Diff preview is on by default for every apply. Auto-approve is opt-in per source.
• Every credential stored in your Vault can be rotated or deleted in one click.
• Account deletion in Settings removes your personal data from active systems within 30 days, per DPDP §12.
• You can grant or revoke Gmail OAuth at any time. Revocation invalidates our access tokens immediately.
• Granular consent for each data use is recorded in our consent ledger (DPDP §6(6)).
